The 2025/26 Premier League season kicks off with Burnley travelling to London to face Tottenham Hotspur. Scott Parker’s side will be looking to make a statement on opening day against Thomas Frank’s newly motivated Spurs.
Burnley have rebuilt their squad with a mix of familiar faces and exciting new signings. Marcus Edwards, Bashir Humphreys, Zian Flemming, and Jaidon Anthony have signed permanent deals after successful loan spells.
Young talents Quilindschy Hartman (Feyenoord), Loum Tchaouna (Lazio), and Max Weiss (Karlsruhe) have joined, bringing energy and potential to the squad.
Parker has also focused on proven Premier League experience, adding Kyle Walker, Axel Tuanzebe, Martin Dúbravka, Lesley Ugochukwu, and Armando Broja. Fan favourite Jacob Bruun Larsen has returned after his previous spell during Burnley’s 2023/24 Premier League campaign.
Returning from loan are Hjalmar Ekdal, Zeki Amdouni (out long-term with a cruciate ligament injury), and Hannes Delcroix.
